Our Man in the Field is simply a guy we met recently who impressed us with his frank, inquisitively quirky style and not completely jaded viewpoint. When we found that he wanders around here and there we asked that he periodically submit his thoughts to us whatever they might be and whenever it occurs to him to do so.
