Swept Away

The MM - "Madonna (of course link contains nudity) stars in and husband Guy Ritchie directs this horrible remake of the 1974 Lina Wertmuller classic. This film replaces the intensity and social relevance of the original with stereotypical characters, stiff dialogue and a totally under whelming storyline. Adriano Giannini fails to fill his father's shoes as he reprises Giancarlo Giannini's role as the cruise ship's first mate. Granted these are large shoes to fill but the changed ending ensures that this movie fails to live up to its predecessor right down to the final frame. Stay away from this version of "Swept Away".
