Scooby Doo

The MM - "This feature length film debut of the boys and girls from Mystery Machine fails on all fronts. Scooby starts with a foundation of poor acting, writing, and directing, and builds on that with horrible computer animation and stupid dialogue. Nostalgia, sexuality, and drug references will not register with the kids and the IQ level of the script should alienate adults who are paying tribute to their favorite cartoon. Scooby Doo is not just a bad movie, it's a bad movie done to excess. Watching this movie is like being a kid and having to eat three helpings of you least favorite vegetable."

Editor's Note - "We leave the below so the lay person might get a glimpse of how a professional movie critic goes about his business, fighting through palp, summer heat, and writers block to get the product out. It was written a week before the above review made it to the desk."

"The MM has seen this movie and it was apparently so bad that he is currently unable to review it or any other film. The following are quotes taken from a recent meeting with him and will have to suffice in place of his reviews until he is able to return to form."

"This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen"
"The animation is so bad that it distracts from how pitiful the rest of the film is."
"I couldn't tell if there were supposed to be lesbians in it or not."
"I sat down to write about the movie and after an hour and a half had one sentence which I threw away."
"In the middle of the film, Shaggy and Scooby have a farting contest. I mean, this film is terrible!"
"Whoever played Velma is pretty hot"
