One
Hour Photo

The MM - "Robin
Williams delivers an Oscar caliber performance as he plays the meticulous,
lonely, compulsive, and troubled discount mart employee in charge of
developing store patrons family snapshots. Connie
Nielsen, Michael
Vartan, and Gary
Cole support adequately but this film focuses on how out of
focus Williams' life has become. One Hour Photo develops slowly but
Williams rarely lets the movie drag. Obsession leads to desperation
as Williams journeys over the edge,
leading to eerie, suspenseful, and extremely shocking finale.
Pessimistic, depressing, and definitely not family entertainment,
but Williams effort alone makes One Hour Photo worth framing.
