Minority Report

The MM - "Steven Spielberg's futuristic view of law enforcement in our nation's capital in the year 2054. Washington D.C. is the only city in the country who employs psychics to help stop criminals before they actually commit the crime. Tom Cruise is the top police officer and the main advocate of the pre crime unit, but he turns fugitive when the psychics finger him as the next perpetrator of a capital crime. Cruise is well cast as a police officer and the rest of the actors give very credible performances. Spielberg does not make the common mistake of letting his action sequences and special effects overshadow his storyline. This movie does have some logistical problems and drags a bit in the middle but still manages to be a very interesting screen adaptation of the 1954 Phillip K. Dick short story"
