The Man from Elysian Fields

The MM - "Julianna Margulies is married to struggling writer Andy Garcia. Male escort service owner Mick Jagger suggests that Garcia alleviate his cash flow problems by working for him as a gigolo. One of Garcia's regular customers (Olivia Williams) is married to his idol, award winning author James Coburn. As a favor to the terminally ill Coburn, Garcia is persuaded to help him write his final novel. Elysian Fields is slow, wordy, and employs questionable logic but the film does provide an interesting look at desperate behavior, atypical relationships, and the lure of easy money. It goes on to illustrate the traumatic effects of infidelity no matter what the intentions."
