Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

The MM - "The second installment of one of the most overhyped, box office megahits of all time is one of the most shallow and repetitive big budget bores of all time. The sophomore saga of the battle for Middle Earth is a three hour, seven minute cavalcade of facial close ups, over dramatic dialogue, and computer gimmick battle scenes. This epic tribute to over acting and special effects does little more than serve as degenerative connective tissue between the first and the final episode of the Tolkien trilogy. It's only success is its ability to separate the American movie goer from over 200 million of their hard earned cash."
