Just a Kiss

The MM - "This independent feature is a dark romantic comedy which follows the intertwined relationships of several beautiful, successful, yet promiscuous and neurotic Manhattenites. Director Fisher Stevens' technique of non-linear overlapping scenes and digital romotation (makes live action look animated) helps emphasize the confusion and pain created by the ensemble cast (Ron Eldard, Patrick Breen, Marley Shelton, Kyra Sedgwick, Marisa Tomei, Taye Diggs, and Sarita Choudhury) as the become more and more unfaithful. However, some of this film's strengths become it's weaknesses as "Just a Kiss" ends up being uneven, busy, cynical and too mean spirited and abrasive to be enjoyable."
