Culkin's modern day Holden Caufield like adventure includes an eccentric godfather Jeff Goldblum, his heroin addicted girlfriend, Amanda Peet (caution: link may contain nudity), a narcissistic brother Ryan Phillippe, his slacker girlfriend Claire Danes and the mother of all neurotic mothers (Susan Sarandon). Interesting and well acted, but a little too repetitive and abrasive with a comfortable and pat ending."
