Hollywood Ending

The MM - "Woody Allen writes, directs, and stars in this movie about a eccentric, neurotic, New York City director who's ex-wife talks her producer into giving Woody one last chance to direct a major motion picture. With jokes and plot lines that are first derivatives of several other Allen films you start noticing the aroma of moth balls over the theater pop corn. Woody gets in the expected barbs at the Los Angeles lifestyle, studio executives, actor's ego, starlet's intelligence, film crews eccentricities, and, of course, himself. Woody soothes his pangs of self depravation by having three beautiful young women Debra Messing, Téa Leoni Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (caution: links may contain nudity) vie for his affection. Moviegoers who saved their ticket stub from Annie Hall will be pleased but for most it is the same old, same old.
