High Crimes

     or

The MM - "Ashley Judd (caution: link may contain nudity) plays a successful San Francisco trial lawyer who teams with down but not out attorney Morgan Freeman to defend her husband against murder charges leveled in a military court. Interesting characters and plot twists help but actions in this film don't always follow a logical thought pattern. A surprise ending keeps you on your toes but all aspects of this movie garner average marks."

Ed's Note - This is not a good film. This is not a plausible film. This is not a well acted film. We suppose that if you see as many movies as the MovieMan then High Crimes might qualify as average. However, if you are not a professional film critic and instead only get the chance to see the odd film here and there, you of course try to pick and chose and see only good films or at least those firmly above average. Taken to that scale, this is among the worst films we've seen this year.
