The Four Feathers

The MM - "Teen heartthrob Heath Ledger stars as a late 19th century English soldier who resigns his commission and is branded a coward. Ledger loses face with friends, family, and country including fiancée Kate Hudson and best buddy Wes Bentley. In and effort to redeem himself, Ledger travels from Britain to the Sudan under his own volition and plots to independently aid the English troops. The Four Feathers is beautifully photographed and features epic battle scenes, but this movie connects them poorly and becomes a chain with many weak links. This film falls short of its obvious desire to be considered classic drama and ends up being with a whole lot of packaging and very little product."
