The MM - "Pierce Brosnan returns as 007 and teams up with CIA operative Halle Berry (caution: link may contain nudity) to save the world from evil doers who want to use technology to create new identities for the international bad guy elite. The man with the license to kill gets solid support from John Cleese, Judi Dench, and Samantha Bond (real name), but Berry's character and performance vault her to the upper echelons of the all time Bond girl list. Action, international intrigue, Brosnan's charm, Berry's beauty, and lots of cool and expensive toys will delight most Bond fans but two ridiculous scenes in the last third of the movie reduce James Bond number twenty to the ranks of the only slightly above average. |
