Chicago

The MM - "The hit Broadway play transitions flawlessly to the silver screen and becomes the award winning musical of the year. Renée Zellweger is the small town girl who dreams of starring in a musical revue, and isn't about to let a small obstacle like a murder charge stand in her way of becoming as big a star as Catherine Zeta-Jones. Richard Gere is the lawyer who's never lost a case and be far the weakest of the trio at song and dance but the perfect fit as a conniving lawyer. Chicago's best attribute is its ability to use the advantages of movie making over stage production without losing the look and feel of a high quality Broadway play. Hollywood loves a good musical and if you do to you'll love Chicago.
