Blood Work

The MM - "Clint Eastwood directs and stars in this who-done-it thriller about a retired FBI agent who starts his own investigation into an unsolved murder that he feels obligated to solve because the victim was Eastwood's organ donor after he suffered a heart attack. Jeff Daniels plays the kooky, but not very believable slacker who lives in the houseboat next door. Clint is just a little too rogue, a little too macho, and a little all too familiar. Combined with a predictable plot and ridiculous ending, this movie is strictly for police drama and Eastwood fans only."

Ed's Note - We agree with the MM's assessment which is a shame because this movie is based on Michael Connelly's novel of the same name which is one of the better reads in the genre.
