Bad Company

The MM - "Two movie makers who are helping build Hollywood's reputation for making disappointing, big budget, predictable action films team up to do just that. Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever) directs and Jerry Bruckheimer (Bad Boys) produces this lame and uninteresting film about the CIA trying to buy an atomic weapon on the black market. Anthony Hopkins is totally miscast as a CIA field agent. This is also a common move in Hollywood. Get a big name actor whether they fit the role or not. Chris Rock brings a few laughs but the chemistry needed between the two is conspicuous in its absence. Rock's nine day transformation from street hustler to CIA operative is not believable. The complete predictability is totally under whelming. Other than a light sprinkling of one liners this movie is a major let down.
