I too think America West sucks and
had a very bad experience with them. Here is a copy of the letter I
sent to them. I have contacted them by phone as well and they have
been very uncooperative. Here it is! Thanks!!!!

Inquiry
I would like to start this letter
by saying that we have bought 6+ round trip tickets with you since
January 2004 and have always been pleased with your service up until
my most recent trip.

The direct flight out to Vegas went
very well. However, on the return flight we got stuck in Phoenix
because you kept all the passengers on the plane for a while because
someone fainted. This caused quite a few people to miss their flight
out to DC, we had to stay in a hotel that night and got two meal
vouchers which could only buy us lunch at the airport. To top it all
off, my wife and I missed a full day of work and I missed out on an
important presentation. I called and explained the situation to
customer relations and they offered $300 in future airline
purchases. I reluctantly accepted, but told them I at least want the
price of the tickets refunded - this little episode cost me well
over $1000. I would like to know what you can do for me which would
be acceptable. If you can do nothing more, I will never fly AWA
again and tell all of my friends about it as well. Please have
someone contact me as soon as possible.
